Persona 5 Scramble is coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch

Atlus and Koei Tecmo’s Omega Force have announced Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, a spin-off of the Persona series. There are not many details about the upcoming game yet.

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers will be a Musou or Warriors game with action RPG elements set in the Persona universe. The game comes from Koei Tecmo’s Omega Force, developers of hack and slash Warriors games like Dynasty Warriors, Hyrule Warriors and Fire Emblem Warriors.

Details are not yet known. The announcement is accompanied by a Persona 5 Scramble site and a Japanese video that reveals little. The name Persona 5 S has already appeared on the internet before. Nintendo fans hoped it pointed to the arrival of Persona 5 to the Switch, but it turns out to be a spin-off for the Switch and PlayStation 4.

On Wednesday, Atlus already announced Persona 5 The Royal. This is a new version of the 2016 RPG game that gets a new member of the Phantom Thieves in addition to updated graphics. The game will be released October 31 in Japan for the PS4. The release in the rest of the world will follow in 2020.
