Panasonic announces the LZ2000. It is the top model in Panasonic’s OLED line and for the first time it will also be available in 77″ format, in addition to the 55″ and 65″ formats. The TV includes HDMI 2.1, game features and an array from the front. directional speakers.

Panasonic’s LZ2000 has two HDMI 2.1 ports. The OLED TV supports HDMI 2.1 functions such as High Frame Rate and Variable Refresh Rate, at 120Hz at 4k resolution. Among other things, the manufacturer has added features for gaming such as SPD Auto Game Mode. This automatically detects whether a system with Nvidia GPU and support for HFR and VRR is linked. There is also the 60Hz Refresh Mode, which should limit the input lag of 60Hz games. Gamers can bring up the Game Control Board, an overlay with game settings.

The TV also supports the HDR formats Dolby Vision IQ, Dolby Vision, Filmmaker Mode, HDR10+ Adaptive and HLG Photo. Panasonic delivers the TVs factory-calibrated and claims to be able to display the mid-tones more clearly with the Master OLED Pro configuration.

The LZ2000 contains a sensor that detects the color temperature of the ambient light. This works in combination with the HCX Pro AI processor to adjust color tones accordingly. Panasonic also mentions the presence of a row of forward-facing speakers that cover the entire width of the TV. This array allows the reproduction of directional sound. There are also sideways and upwards-facing speakers for spatial audio reproduction, such as via Dolby Atmos.

The prices and availability of the LZ2000 are not yet known.
