Odido introduces 2Gbit/s and 8Gbit/s internet bundles and new Mediabox

Telecom company Odido is introducing two new internet bundles with fiber optic speed. The bundle with speeds up to 2Gbit/s costs 60 euros per month. The 8Gbit/s bundle costs 85 euros per month. The operator also comes with a new Mediabox.

Odido is marketing the new subscription with 2Gbit/s as the solution for large families whose family members watch videos and play online games in 4k and 8k resolution simultaneously and on different screens. This internet subscription costs 60 euros per month. The 8Gbit/s subscription is promoted to home offices and users who use a lot of data. With this last subscription, which costs 85 euros per month, promises Odido that you can effortlessly connect to a home server remotely.

The provider also introduces a new Mediabox. The device can be connected via WiFi and comes with a Bluetooth remote control. The new Mediabox offers support for the own Odido TV app and other streaming apps. Users can also control the device via the Google Assistant. New customers who take out a television subscription will receive the Mediabox immediately.

The provider still has three fiber optic subscriptions in its range. The cheapest, with 100Mbit/s, costs 35 euros per month, the subscription with 400Mbit/s costs 40 euros per month and that with a speed of 1Gbit/s costs 45 euros per month.

* Odido writes in its rate list that the monthly subscription fee depends on the type of Internet connection available at the user’s address. It became apparent at the beginning of 2022 that an additional charge could be charged.
