Publisher Electronic Arts has announced that the new Skate game will also get a PC version. It is the first time that the series is coming to PC. It is not clear whether the PC version will appear at the same time as the console version.
Electronic Arts announced the arrival of the PC version through a tweet and gives no further information. It is the first time that the developers have announced a platform for the game. However, it is obvious that the game will also be released for current-gen consoles; the previous three games were released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The publisher has been talking about the new Skate game for over a year. EA has set up a new studio for the game, Full Circle, in Vancouver, Canada. Deran Chun and Chris Parry are both creative directors at this new studio; these developers also worked on the earlier Skate games. The Skate games are known for their relatively realistic representation of skateboarding.
