Microsoft shows Lumia 950 and 950 XL on its site
Microsoft has posted images and specs of the Lumia 950 and 950 XL on a site of its branch in the United Kingdom. This is the first time that the company has confirmed the devices itself. The presentation with full specs and prices will take place next week.
On the site with devices that are ready for Windows 10, and which can still be found in Google’s cache, there are also some specifications mentioned in addition to pictures. The Lumia 950 has, as earlier rumors stated, a 5.2″ screen with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. Whether it is an LCD or an OLED screen, the page does not mention. The 950 XL has a 5.7″ screen with the same resolution.
Both devices have a 20-megapixel camera with ‘Zeiss optics’. Nokia has been using Carl Zeiss lenses on its devices for years. The storage amount is 32GB and it is expandable via a microSD card with a maximum capacity of 2TB.
The images show a screenshot with the standard wallpaper of Windows 10. Microsoft will hold an event next week, at which it will present the Lumias, among other things. Last week, a British web store also put a page online about the Continuum Hub, an adapter to control a large screen with the devices, for example to make typing easier.
