Microsoft has shown the first gameplay footage of Halo Infinite during its Xbox Games Showcase. These are images from the single player campaign. A new trailer has also been released. The game will be released simultaneously with the Xbox Series X later this year.

The gameplay footage shows a lot of action and familiar elements from Halo games such as the Warthog vehicle. It also shows how Master Chief uses a new grappling hook to move around the playing field.

In the new trailer, Microsoft shows that the game will be released during the holiday season of 2020. An exact date has not yet been announced, but it stands to reason that the game will be released at the same time as the Xbox Series X console. Halo Infinite is also available for Windows 10 and is part of the Game Pass subscription.

According to Chris Lee, CEO of developer 343 Studios, Halo Infinite will have the largest single-player campaign to date in a Halo game. The area would be more than twice that of the past two Halo games. The game runs at 60fps on the Xbox Series X.
