Microsoft releases service for customizing Copilot in Microsoft 365

Microsoft has announced Copilot Studio, which allows paying customers to customize the Copilot AI application in Microsoft 365. For example, they can use plug-ins or use their own GPTs in the software.

In addition, customers can create their own standalone versions of Copilot for internal use, reports Microsoft. Copilot is the feature within Microsoft 365 that uses generative AI to perform functions within the software.

Customizing Copilot is done via a graphical interface with blocks and requires little to no code, the company says. Copilot was released earlier this year. Microsoft immediately releases Copilot Studio in a public preview. The company announced the service at its own Ignite conference.
