Microsoft is preparing the Windows 10 November 2019 Update for release. The current test build is the final version as it comes to end users, the company reports. The moment of release would not be long in coming.

Build version 18363.418 of Windows 10 is the final build of the Windows 10 November 2019 Update, reports Brandon LeBlanc of the Windows Insider Program, immediately revealing the name under which the operating system will appear. Test users in the Release Preview ring are already running this 19H2 version. Microsoft will transition users in the Slow ring to Windows 10 20H1 sometime in the near future, the version users in the Fast ring have had for months.

The Windows 10 November 2019 Update, aka version 1909 known to the Insider Program as 19H2, follows the May 2019 Update, aka version 1903. It’s one of two major Windows updates that Microsoft releases annually, but it’s going to happen this time. for a modest update with mostly bug fixes and optimizations.

New features are that users can enter appointments directly from the calendar on the taskbar by selecting a date and time. The explorer’s search function also runs on Windows Search from now on, so that OneDrive items are also included in searches. Microsoft has prepared a list of the changes.
