Jurassic World Evolution DLC Lets Players Play Original Jurassic Park

In a new Jurassic World Evolution DLC, players can return to the original park from the movie. In addition to new dinos, the add-on also includes classic elements such as the gates and the Jurassic Park tour known from the 1993 film.

The DLC was announced Friday by developer Frontier Developments via a short teaser trailer. It shows how players return to Isla Nublar to recreate the original park from the film. It involves the same park design, the dinosaurs from the movie, and even original cast members Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum providing voiceovers. The high gates of the park and the visitor center can also be seen in the trailer.

The DLC is called Return to Jurassic Park, and is set after the events of the movie. In the DLC, players will be able to play through seven new story missions where they must refurbish the park so that it can reopen to the public. In addition to the additions, the DLC also comes with improvements and additions to the original game, such as changes to the way rangers interact with dinosaurs or how guests have to go to the bathroom. Return to Jurassic Park will be released on December 10 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for $20.
