How to Delete Your WhatsApp Account

Facebook’s owned application WhatsApp has started notifying its customer about new policy changes. This policy change is not acceptable for many users. Users are switching to other mobile messaging application like Telegram and Signal. According to the new policy change, Whatsapp user data can be shared with Facebook and other third-party. If you also want to switch to another messaging application or want to delete your Whatsapp account, it can be done with some easy steps.

Delete your WhatsApp account (Android)

On Android deleting a WhatsApp account is very easy. Just follow these steps:

Step 1. Open Whatsapp application and then tap 3 dots menu. This will show you the setting of the application.

Step 2. On the Setting page tap on the ‘Account’ .

Step 3. Here you will see the ‘Delete my account’ option, just tap on it.

Step 4. Then you have to Confirm your phone number and tap again on the ‘Delete my account’ button.

Delete WhatsApp account (iOS)

To delete a Whatsapp account on iOS, just follow the following steps.

Step 1. Open WhatsApp and tap on ‘Settings’.

Step 2. On the settings page, tap on the Account.

Step 3. Now you will see the ‘Delete my account’ option, just tap on it.

Step 4. Now enter your phone number and tap again on the ‘Delete my account’ button.
