The cheaper version of the Pixel 3, the Pixel 3a, would have an OLED screen and a Pixel Visual Core. That’s what 9to5Google claims. The editor-in-chief says he has a copy of the telephone.

The 5.6 “OLED screen has a resolution of 2220×1080 pixels, writes 9to5Google. This makes the screen slightly longer and narrower than that of the Pixel 3. It has an OLED screen of 2160×1080 pixels. The screen of the Pixel 3 comes out on 12.72 x 6.36 cm, that of the 3a at 12.79 x 6.22 cm. The screen surface of the 3a is therefore slightly smaller than that of the Pixel 3, despite the same diagonal: 79.6 instead of 80.9 cm² .

The phone has the Pixel Visual Core app on board, which indicates that the Visual Core itself is also inside the case. That extra chip ensures, among other things, faster image processing for HDR functions. The battery has a capacity of 3000mAh. The phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670. Whoever owns the phone should Stephen Hall, says that the camera app opens slower and is slower with taking pictures.

The storage on the device is 64GB, just like the cheapest version of the regular Pixel 3. The speakers are also audible less on the cheaper version. The 3a would have a 3.5mm jack, where the Pixel 2 and Pixel 3 do not have either. In addition, Google follows the trend of several manufacturers that cheaper devices do receive the connection and more expensive devices do not.

Hall does not know the price and release date. There have been rumors for months about the device, which was first known as Pixel 3 Lite. An XL version will also be available. It is not known when the search giant will present the phones.
