Google adds podcasts to Play Music

Google has added podcasts to its music service Play Music. The podcast discovery feature is only available in the United States and Canada. It is unknown when the position will be available in the Benelux.

Google’s algorithms sort podcasts based on what users are doing, their mood and interests, the search giant says. It is unknown exactly how that will work. In addition, it is possible for users to subscribe to podcasts to receive notifications of new episodes.

It is unknown when Google will release the function in the Benelux, because for now it can only be used in the United States and Canada. It is unknown how many people in the Benelux regularly listen to podcasts.
