‘Gigabyte is working on several new designs for RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 Ti’
Gigabyte is said to be working on several new versions of the RTX 3080 with 12GB of memory and the RTX 3070 Ti with 16GB of memory. This is evident from filings with the Eurasian Economic Commission. These include an AORUS Xtreme and a Mini-ITX card.
The filings of the SKU list with the ECC show that different models of Gigabyte cards are arriving. These are ten different models of the RTX3080 with 12GB of memory, under the names AORUS Xtreme, Gaming OC, Vision OC, Eagle OC, non-overclocked versions of the Gaming, Vision and Eagle cards, and a 3080 IXEB.
There are also six unannounced RTX3070 Ti cards mentioned with 16GB of memory. The Taorus Master, Gaming OC, Eagle OC, Gaming, Vision and Eagle. In the same list are three AMD Radeon RX 6500XT cards, with 4GB of memory.
The list was discovered by Twitter user @momomo_us, and first picked up by Videocardz.com. The RTX 3080 12GB cards are a new line of 12GB cards in the pipeline after the RTX 2060 12GB was announced on Tuesday. The cards have more memory than their predecessors. According to Videocardz.com, the RTX 3070 Ti 16GB will likely feature the same CUDA configuration as its predecessor.
