Flight Simulator gets dropship from Halo games as dlc

Microsoft adds the UNSC Pelican to Flight Simulator. Players can download the dropship as a free add-on. Microsoft showed how the futuristic plane from the Halo franchise can “fly” in space. The 40th Anniversary edition of the software will be released in November.

The UNSC Pelican, aka Dropship 77 Troop Carrier, is the first fictional aircraft from another franchise to be developed by Microsoft. added to Flight Simulator† According to Microsoft, it is a detailed add-on. Owners of the game and Xbox Game Pass subscribers can download it for free from the Flight Simulator marketplace.

Microsoft showed footage of the Pelican from Halo Infinite at the end of the trailer for the special edition flight simulator coming out in celebration of the software’s 40th anniversary. Among other things, you can see how the dropship flies into space.

The 40th Anniversary edition of Flight Simulator will be released in November and will include Bell-407 and Guimbal Cabri G2 helicopters. According to Microsoft, the arrival of helicopters is possible thanks to a newly developed technique, Fluid Dynamics Simulation. The company has not yet released more information about this. Microsoft is also adding the Wright Flyer and Douglas DC-3 historic aircraft. This update is also free to game owners and Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
