Download Firmware Tomato 1.15

A new version of Tomato has been released. Like Hyperwrt, Tomato is an ‘alternative’ firmware for various routers with a beating heart from Broadcom, including the Linksys Wrt54g, Buffalo Whr-g54s and Asus Wl500g Premium. After flashing, which is of course done entirely at your own risk, the router has a new user interface and various additional options, including real-time bandwidth monitor, expanded setting options for qos, access rights and wireless connections, and improved support for peer-2 peer clients. . More information about the capabilities and supported models, including screenshots and videos, is on this page to find. The version 1.14 of Tomato, which was released two weeks ago, appears to cause quite a few problems, especially with dhcp, which is why version 1.15 has reverted to an older version of busybox:

Changes in Tomato version 1.15.1297

  • Downgraded busybox back to 1.2 for now. The upgrade seems to have caused a few problems with things like DHCP.
Note: This is the same version used prior to Tomato 1.14. It’s stable and from a user’s viewpoint, you shouldn’t see any change in functionality between the two.

If you’re having problems with loosing Internet connection after a while and you’re using DHCP, please try this version.[break] Click on the image for a larger version.
