Download Firmware iRiver iFP-300 2.22

In addition to new firmware for the iFP-500 series, iRiver also has new control software for the iFP-300 models released† This release is version number 2.22 and is available in two different flavors: the first package supports mp3, wma and asf files but refuses to play ogg music. The second download is able to run mp3 and ogg, but wma and asf files cannot be played. The changelog looks like this:

Adjustable playback speed (MENU > CONTROL > PLAYBACK SPEED)

• Playback speed can be adjusted from -9 to 9 (Speeds can be adjusted ±25%).
• Playback speed will slow to the – side, and increase to the + side.

Bugs Fixed

• Machine resets that occur when adjusting features in the Xtreme EQ or 3D state have been fixed.
