Far Cry 6 hit the PlayStation Store even before the game was announced. The description and cover art show that Giancarlo Esposito plays a leading role. The actor is known for Breaking Bad and The Mandalorian. The game will be released on February 18.

Different users on Twitter show pictures and screenshots from the Far Cry 6 listing on the PlayStation Store. The cover of the game features Giancarlo Esposito, who suggested he was working on a game project last week. The actor plays Gus Fring in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, in Star Wars series The Mandalorian he plays the role of Moff Gideon.

According to the description, Far Cry 6 is set on Yara, a tropical paradise where time has stood still. The game is about dictator Anton Castillo and his son Diego. Their ruthless oppression results in a popular uprising. Esposito presumably plays the role of the dictator.

Players take on the role of Dani Rojas, a local who fights the regime. The game world contains jungles, beaches and a big city. It is the largest game world to date in a Far Cry game. The game features vehicles and mercenaries that can be deployed in battle.

The game is playable on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Gamers who purchase the PS4 version can upgrade the digital version to the PS5 version for free. It is not yet known to what extent the two versions differ graphically. It goes without saying that the game will also come out for Xbox consoles and the PC, just like previous Far Cry games.

Ubisoft will be holding its Forward event at 9 p.m. on Sunday night, where it will show games. Far Cry 6 is likely to be officially announced then. Ubisoft will also show gameplay from Watch_Dogs: Legion and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Those viewing the event via uPlay can claim a free copy of Watch_Dogs 2.
