Smartphone leaker Evan Blass has shared images of the as-yet unannounced Galaxy Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 on his Twitter account. The images show a slightly modified design. The devices are expected in August this year.
One of the images shows an S-Pen leaning against the suspected Fold3 and labeled ‘Fold Edition’. The images also show a smaller camera island on the suspected Fold3 device and a larger external display for the Galaxy Z Flip3. According to the images, the latter will also have a two-tone design and a camera island where the lenses are placed vertically below each other. It seems that the name scheme of the Galaxy Z Flip will be aligned with that of the Fold phones.
According to the South Korean news agency Yonhap, Samsung is planning to release the Galaxy Z Fold3, the Galaxy Z Flip3 and the Galaxy S21 FE at the end of August. With this, Samsung would maintain a different release schedule than with previous models. The first Z Flip was released in February of 2020. The Z Fold2 was released in September, followed by the Galaxy S20 FE in October 2020.
