Download Driver For Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi series 2.18.0013

Creative has released a new set of drivers for its Sound Blaster X-Fi series sound cards. The drivers have been given version number 2.18.0013 and are suitable for Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7, in both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions. New in this release is the ability to use ‘What U Hear’ and Dolby Digital and DTS decode in Windows Vista and Windows 7. Below are the full release notes for this version:

Added Features or Enhancements:
For systems using Windows 7 or Windows Vista

• What You Hear feature is enabled.

• Dolby® Digital and DTS® decode re-established for sound cards that included decoding in their Windows XP drivers (Not applicable for products that included a 3rd party software DVD player license in the package).
