Developer Toys for Bob postpones the release of Spyro Reignited Trilogy until November 13. The company states that the trilogy needs more ‘love and attention’. Originally, the remasters should be released September 21.

Toys for Bob is keen to do the remastering right, CEO Paul Yan gives as the reason for the postponement. “Once you explore Dragon Realms, Avalar and Forgotten Worlds in November, you’ll agree it was worth the wait,” he said.

Activision announced Spyro the Dragon Reignited Trilogy in April. The bundle includes HD remasters of the three original Spyro games released exclusively for the PlayStation: Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. Incidentally, the disc release only contains the first game, according to the Spyro site. The other two are only available as downloads.

The first Spyro title was released for the PlayStation in 1998. The new trilogy will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
