GPU-Z screenshots may show the specifications of AMD’s Radeon RX 6600 video cards with the Navi 23 GPU. Information has also surfaced about the Navi 24 GPU, which could be used in a lower positioned video card.

AMD would use the Navi 23 GPU in the Radeon RX 6600XT and RX 6600. With the XT variant, the GPU has 2048 stream processors and with the regular version a part is disabled, bringing the number of stream processors to 1792. Both cards get 8GB of GDDR6 memory and a 128-bit memory bus.

The specifications are in GPU-Z screenshots that at the Chinese forum Chiphell have been published. It is not possible to say for certain whether the screenshots are authentic, but the specifications are consistent with previously leaked details and rumors. The source claims to have the cards in possession and to have gotten it working with a driver that supports the RX 6600M GPU.

AMD may announce the Radeon RX 6600 video cards at the Computex show at the end of this month. The mobile version could then also be introduced. AMD has repeatedly indicated that laptop GPUs based on RDNA 2 are on the way.

AMD Navi 24 for RX 6500 or RX 6400

Details have also emerged about what is believed to be AMD’s Navi 24 GPU. Linux drivers contain references to an RNDA 2 GPU codenamed Beige Goby. It would have 16MB L3 cache and according to previous rumors, the Navi 24 GPU will get that amount of cache, writes VideoCardz. Details in the driver indicate that the GPU will get a maximum of 1024 cores, or half of Navi 23. The GPU would be combined with 4GB GDDR6.

It is therefore expected that AMD will use the Navi 24 GPU in lower positioned video cards. It could be, for example, the Radeon RX 6500 or RX 6400. Mobile variants are also expected for laptops. It is not yet known when such video cards will be released.
