The Android version of action-platformer Dead Cells will be released on June 3. The roguelike is already available on numerous other platforms, including iOS. The Android version was announced in May last year. The price is not known yet.

Playdigious, the studio responsible for the Android port, announces the release date in a tweet. The game is available in the Google Play Store and users can register there to be notified when it is released. A price has not yet been announced, but it is probably comparable to the price of the iOS version, which costs seven euros.

The Android version of Dead Cells is similar to the game which is also available for PC, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Rise of the Giant and The Bad Seed expansions will not be part of the Android version when it comes out. The extensions will be added later according to the developer. It is not possible to transfer savegames from other platforms to the Android version.

Dead Cells is a roguelike metroidvania platformer developed by Motion Twin. The game was available in Early Access for a year starting in 2017 and officially released in August 2018. The versions for other platforms get a score of about 90 points on Metacritic.
