ASUS presents motherboards for Intel CPUs with WiFi 7

ASUS announced Z790 motherboards at gamescom in Cologne. Two of the three new motherboards have WiFi 7 support on board.

The ROG Maximus Z790 Dark Hero and ROG Strix Z790-A Gaming WiFi II have WiFI 7, the TUF Gaming Z790-Pro WiFi has to make do with WiFi 6E. says ASUS. Although these are the first motherboards from ASUS with support for the new WiFi standard, other brands have announced such models before.

The TUF Gaming Z790-Pro WiFi is the first in its series to support AI Overclocking, an auxiliary tool for overclocking. The motherboards are compatible with twelfth, thirteenth and next generation Intel Core CPUs. ASUS does not say anything else about release dates and prices of the new boards.
