Apple has announced that it is starting a repair program for the iPhone X and the Macbook Pro. With the iPhone X, owners can have their device repaired if they have screen problems, while the Macbook Pro is the SSD.

The repair program was announced Friday evening via a support page on Apple’s site. According to the manufacturer, users can have their display module replaced if they experience problems with the touchscreen. In some cases, the screen appears not to respond to input, according to research. Owners of an iPhone X with the problem can have their device repaired for free at an Apple store.

The same is true for owners of a Macbook Pro, which is the version with a 13″ screen without a Touch Bar. The 128GB or 256GB SSDs used in the laptop may have a problem that causes the data to be lost. The devices that could be affected were sold between June last year and June this year. Apple has built in a tool on its website that allows owners to check whether they are eligible for the repair program.

Anyone who has registered their Macbook Pro with Apple will automatically receive an email if the model is eligible for repair. The exact cause of the problems of both the iPhone X and the Macbook Pro has not been disclosed by Apple.
