iOS users are reporting multiple apps on Apple’s platform crashing on opening. These include Spotify, Flitsmeister, Waze and Tinder. Facebook is investigating whether the problem lies with its SDK for iOS.
On Twitter, there are mainly reports of users complaining that their Spotify app on iOS no longer wants to start, but users also report experiencing problems with Flitsmeister, Waze, Pinterest, Tinder and Call of Duty Mobile. Developers report that their app is crashing due to a bug in the Facebook SDK and they are requesting the social network to roll back any changes to the SDK as soon as possible. Facebook is investigating these reports. In May, iOS app crashes were also caused by the Facebook SDK, which apps use to log in with a Facebook account.
