An anonymous customer of Hush Hush wants to host a battle royale event with 100 participants on a private island. The competition is intended to last three days. It is not yet known whether the intention is to jump from a plane with a parachute.

Describing itself as the world’s largest marketplace for luxury shoppers, Hush Hush was approached by one of its clients to help organize it. The client was looking for a talented playmaker with experience in large-scale event management and set design. The salary that this game maker will earn amounts to $1500 a day for a period of six weeks, which comes out to $45,000, which is approximately $39,888.

The event will receive 100 participants and the last one standing will win a prize pool of 100,000 pounds, equivalent to 115,695 euros. Competitors are given an airsoft gun, airsoft cartridges and touch-sensitive equipment to detect when they have been hit. According to the current schedule, the battle royale will take three days of approximately twelve hours each. After each match day, the remaining participants must camp overnight; for this they get food and camping gear. It is not yet known whether the participants also have to pay to participate.

Hush Hush founder Aaron Harpin explains that if the battle royale is successful, the anonymous founder has plans to make it an annual event.

Update: Doubts have been expressed about the reliability of the Hush Hush website and with it the battle royale message. For example, several archive links show that refurbished iPhones and an escort service were offered on the website a few months ago. The photos shown that would indicate the terrain for the battle royale event also seem to have been picked haphazardly from the internet. However, it is not entirely clear that the described event is only intended to generate traffic and is therefore not real.
