The Walking Dead release date for PS4 and Xbox One shifts to October 31
The Walking Dead is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Europe a week later than expected. Where the game series would initially appear for consoles on October 24, Telltale Games has now set the release date for October 31.
The developer made the announcement via Twitter. The date is a week later than TellTale previously announced. The first two seasons of The Walking Dead are already available for other platforms.
In North America, the game is already available for the PS4 and Xbox One. Subsequently, additional uncertainty about the European release date has arisen, because the game series could already be downloaded by mistake via the Microsoft store, Eurogamer writes. The page in question has been taken offline.
The American developer confirmed the arrival of the third season of The Walking Dead in June. It is still unclear when and for which platforms the game will appear. Nothing has been revealed about the storyline yet. The game is based on the Robert Kirkman comic books of the same name.
