KC Softwares has released a new version of VideoInspector. It is version number 1.4.0.78 and can be downloaded as an installer or as a zip file. Previously known as VideoToolbox, this program can inspect movie files and provide all relevant information about them. For example, it indicates with which audio and video codecs the file was created, the length of the film and whether it is complete. In addition, it also offers the possibility to download missing codecs. In this release it is possible to statistics about the codecs used and to submit them. The changelog therefore looks like this:
