Cerulean Studios has released an update to version 4.2 of the instant messaging program Trillian Astra. Trillian Astra allows chatting with users of a variety of instant messaging and social networks, including Windows Live, ICQ, Skype (text only), Twitter and Facebook. Trillian Astra is available for Windows, Mac OS X, iOS, Android and BlackBerry. In addition, there is a version that runs in a web browser and can therefore be used anywhere. Version 4.2 build 25 of Trillian Astra has been released to fix a problem with GoogleTalk! to solve.
Trillian for Windows: A quick fix for Google Talk!
Build 25 is going out today for the Trillian 4.x branch to address the recent Google Talk “off the record” issue. There were no other changes between 24 and 25. You should receive the offer to update the next time you restart Trillian or can always grab it from our download page. We will address this bug in 5.0 with the upcoming build 30 and will also get the bugfix into the next Mac build. We know it’s been a long wait for the next 5.0 build and we can’t wait to unveil it – thanks!
