Download Sygate Personal Firewall 5.5 build 2710

In the forums from Sygate a new version of the Personal Firewall can be found, this time with version number 5.5 build 2710. The download weighs just over 5MB and is available as Microsoft’s Installer file (Windows Me, 200 and XP) and as old-fashioned exe file (Windows 95, 98 and NT). Also the pro version has been lifted to the same version and available as msi- or exe file† Sygate didn’t want to share much about what exactly changed, so we’ll have to make do with this succinct comment:

Sygate Personal Firewall STD and Pro Version 5.5 build 2577 has been released.

This release is to address the vulnerabilities reported in Sygate Personal Firewall Pro.
