Download phpMyAdmin 2.8.0.2

The developers of phpMyAdmin recently released a new version of the software in the form of 2.8.0.2. The update is on this page available in different versions. A MySQL database can be maintained via a web browser using phpMyAdmin. Not only is it possible to create databases and tables, but they can also be dropped and modified. Version 2.8.0.2 is a so-called maintenance release and has the following changes:

Version 2.8.0.2 is a maintenance release containing a security fix (XSS problem) as well as fixes for

• mysqli problems with zend.ze1_compatibility_mode enabled
• setup script did not save the mysql/mysqli extension
• Documentation.txt badly formatted
