Download Notepad++ 5.8.2

Version 5.8.2 of Notepad++ was released on Tuesday. This comprehensive text editor has various features that are especially useful for programmers, such as syntax highlighting for C, C++, Java, html, XML and php, among others. The program also offers the possibility to edit more than one document at the same time or even to maintain one document in two different places. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

Notepad++ v5.8.2 fixed bugs (from v5.8.1):

• Fix windows 7 crash bug while executing update.
• Fix macro recording bug for the non-ASCII characters.
• Fix C# syntax highlighting disabled problem after reloading.
• Fix find performance issue related macro recording.
• Modify SaveFile dialog behavior: it browses inside the directory instead of creating the new file with the given directory name.
