McAfee has released a beta version of its VirusScan for the Mac OS X platform. This program protects Tiger and Leopard systems against viruses and malicious code as you would expect from a modern virus scanner. The program can be distributed, configured and monitored over multiple workstations with the accompanying ePolicy Orchestrator. As an administrator, you are immediately notified when an infection or outbreak occurs in your network. This VirusScan 8.6 beta comes with the following list of customizations:
