satcp left us a short ( ) description of foobar: “Foobar2000 is a very compact audio player that prides itself on efficient memory and CPU usage. Foobar uses a 64-bit floating point decoder unlike for example Winamp and Windows Media Player; they have to make do with a 16 bit decoder.”

The latest version is 0.61a and has the following changes:
