DeadDBeeF is an open source music player for Linux. Previously, X11 was required, but now it can be used from the command line in FreeBSD and OpenSolaris. Support is available for MP3, ogg vorbis, flac, wav and audio CDs, among others. Furthermore, there is an 18-channel equalizer, the meta tags can be adjusted and the possibilities can be further expanded with plug-ins. More information about the program is on this page to find.
