Download Akelpad 4.0.2

Akelpad has been updated to version 4.0.2. The download of this small and fast open source text editor is just over 200KB, but despite that the program has an extensive range of features. It can be used as a replacement for the Notepad included with Windows, but can also be used for programming. By means of plugins you can add extra functionality, including syntax highlighting, auto-completion, scripts and macros. The changelog for this release shows the following changes:

• At window resize in a word wrap mode, AkelEdit adjusts position of the text according to the first visible line.
• Improved status bar painting on main window resize.
• Increased accuracy of the wrapping progress indicator.
• Default word breaking now has RichEdit format.

• URL prefixes and delimiters setup.
• Text Drag’n’Drop between tab buttons from external applications (MDI).

• Changing the formatting rectangle (AEM_SETRECT) in word wrap mode.
