Sennheiser announces the Accentum Wireless for a suggested retail price of 179.90 euros. According to the audio brand, the headphones have a battery life of fifty hours and support hybrid active noise cancellation. The headset will be available from October 4.

Sennheiser promises that users of the Accentum Wireless can listen to music for fifty hours on a full battery. This applies if the headphones are connected via Bluetooth and ANC is enabled. With the fast charging function, another five hours should be added within ten minutes. The battery, with a capacity of 800mAh, should be able to be fully charged within three hours. Charging is done via the USB-C port, which can also be used to use the headphones wired. There is support for Bluetooth 5.2 and multipoint connectivity.

In terms of design, the new Accentum product line builds on the more expensive Momentum series. The new over-ear headphones have a similar minimalist design and are also available in white and black. Users can control the headset with the four buttons on the right ear cup or via the Smart Control app.

The Accentum Wireless has drivers with a diameter of 37mm and a range of between 10Hz and 22kHz. Both ear cups contain a ‘covered microphone’ for what Sennheiser calls ‘hybrid active noise cancellation’. The ANC works with passive isolation of the microphones in combination with active filtering of ambient noise. The audio brand also says that a special wind restriction mode is available during phone calls.
