Intel is rumored to release its first Alder Lake-S processors on November 19. Z690 motherboards would also be available on the same date. Intel would announce the prices and specifications of the chips at the end of October, during its Innovation Event.

Anonymous sources tell Wccftech that Intel will release its first “K” and “non-K” processors on Nov. 19, with more mainstream Alder Lake models expected in the weeks to come. Previously published leaker momomo_us already the possible lineup of Alder Lake processors. That list comes from various web stores. In that line-up were also mainly K models listed, in addition to KF CPUs without integrated GPU and some models without suffix.

According to sources, the first Z690 motherboards will also be released on November 19. The other 600 series chipsets would follow later. These motherboards will include an LGA1700 socket. The Z690 platform also offers official support for DDR5-4800 memory. The lower-ranked 600-series chipsets, such as H670, B650 and H610, will retain DDR4-3200 support according to Wccftech.

Alder Lake processors will initially be available for desktops, although laptop variants will be released later. Intel recently announced this during its Architecture Day. The processors include faster performance cores with hyperthreading and some more energy-efficient cores without hyperthreading. The processors are made on the Intel 7 process, previously known as Intel 10nm Enhanced SuperFin.
