According to Jon Prosser, Apple has an improved version of its Apple TV 4K ready. The new model contains an A12X soc and 64GB or 128GB flash storage. The set-top box is ready to be released. According to Prosser, the same applies to a new iMac and AirPods.

Last September there was already a rumor that Apple would release a set-top box with A12-soc. Jon Prosser now reports on Twitter that it concerns the A12X soc, which Apple also used in the previous generation of iPad Pro models. The current Apple TV 4K contains an A10X soc, combined with 3GB of ram. It is not known whether the new set-top box will also receive more RAM. However, the storage space is larger; the base model will get 64GB and there will be a 128GB version. Currently there is a choice of 32GB or 64GB.

According to Prosser, the codename of the set-top box is Neptune T1125, and the device can be released at any time. He also says that Apple has a new iMac and new AirPods ready, but more details are not known. It is also not clear when the products will be announced.

In recent months, Prosser has released correct information about not yet presented Apple products several times. He was able to tell that Apple would introduce the new iPhone SE in mid-April. He also predicted the arrival of the renewed MacBook Pro 13″ a few hours before the actual introduction.
