Renders may show Motorola edge 30 Pro smartphone
Renders of what could be the Motorola edge 30 Pro have surfaced. The phone is largely the same as the X30 previously released in China, but has the fingerprint scanner in a different place.
The renders of MySmartprice show that the fingerprint scanner is behind the screen, instead of on the side. Compared to the X30, the Motorola logo has also moved to the lower left corner of the back of the phone. Many of the specs and the rest of the design seem to be the same, the site notes.
Lenovo would provide the phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-soc, with a maximum of 12GB of RAM. The screen is a 6.7″ OLED panel with 2400×1080 pixels, with a refresh rate of 144Hz. The X30 measures 163.6×75.6×8.5mm and it is obvious that the edge 30 Pro has approximately the same size. Rumors about an edge 30 Ultra are unknown, but it is unknown if that will be the same phone.
The device would have a front camera with a 60-megapixel sensor. The primary and ultra-wide-angle camera would both be 50 megapixels. The battery has a capacity of 5000mAh and can charge with 68W.
It is still unknown when Lenovo would like to present the phone. The edge 20 series came out in July last year. Since the X30 is already available in China, it is obvious that the manufacturer will be able to release the edge 30 Pro soon.

Successor with 200-megapixel camera
Lenovo is also said to be working on a device with a 200-megapixel camera. The German WinFuture publishes renders and specifications of this and states that this smartphone, codenamed Frontier 22, is a further development of the edge 30, with an SM8475 soc. That might be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus. This device has a 6.7-inch OLED screen with rounded edges and is expected to appear in July.
