Photos have surfaced of parts of the Google Pixel 5a 5G. The battery of the phone is said to have a capacity of 4680mAh, larger than the batteries of Pixel phones to date. The Pixel 5 has a 4000mAh battery, the 4a 5G has to make do with 3885mAh.

The pictures which publishes Android Police, are in line with previously released renders of the phone. The design is similar to that of the Pixel 4a 5G that appeared last year, not to be confused with the smaller and cheaper Pixel 4a. The photos are said to come from telecom stores, which have already received the parts in the run-up to the phone’s release.

Google has already confirmed the arrival of the phone. That happened after a rumor. Even then, the search giant said the phone would only appear in the United States and Japan. Previous Pixels also appeared in some other countries, such as the UK, Germany and France. Google never released its Pixels in many countries.

The Pixel 5a 5G would run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G. In addition to a larger battery, the phone has a lot in common with the Pixel 4a 5G, including the 6.2 “OLED screen, the 3.5 mm jack and the design. The cameras would also match, with a primary 12-megapixel camera and a 16 -megapixel camera with ultra-wide-angle lens Android Police thinks Google will announce the phone on Tuesday and release it in a week and a half.
