Photos probably show Panasonic G90 system camera

Photos have appeared online of probably the Panasonic G90 system camera. This should be the successor to the Panasonic G80 system camera released in 2016. Specifications are still largely unknown.

The photos are on the usually reliable Japanese Nokishita blog. The website does not yet state specifications, so it is unclear for the time being what kind of micro four thirds sensor is in the camera. The body seems to have a lot in common with the G80.

Rumor site 43rumors reports based on an anonymous source that the new G90 camera will receive the sensor of the high-end G9 system camera. If that’s true, the G90 will have a 20-megapixel sensor, although the G9’s high maximum shooting speed and large buffer will probably find its way to the new camera in a more limited form.

Reportedly, Panasonic will announce the new camera sometime in early April. Then more will be known about the specifications and price information.
