Streaming service NLZiet has added a profile function that makes it easier to share the subscription with a household. Up to five profiles can be created that allow you to watch TV on two devices at the same time.
The viewing progress is tracked in the user profiles and profiles receive personal recommendations based on the viewing behavior within a profile, the television service writes in a press release. The feature is supposed to give users a ‘more personalized experience’. With an NLZiet subscription, users can create up to five profiles and watch on two devices at the same time. The same goes for live television. Profiles can follow their own favorite series and each profile has its own watch later list.
The feature works on all devices where NLZiet now works, so has been added to the app for iOS and Android, works in the web browser and on Apple TV, Android TV, Fire TV and in the NLZiet app on Hisense smart TVs from 2018 and Samsung Tizen smart TVs from 2016. NLZiet is also working on an app for LG smart TVs. It is not yet known when it will be available.
