MSI GS77 laptop with Intel Core i9-12900H and RTX 3080 Ti appears in listings
Details of MSI’s GS77 Stealth gaming laptops have surfaced online. The new model gets Intel Alder Lake processors and new Nvidia RTX GPUs. The top model is equipped with the Core i9-12900H with 14 cores and an RTX 3080 Ti-gpu with 16GB vram.
Several online stores have information about four GS77 models online. The cheapest model with RTX 3070 Ti and Core i7-12700H is listed at a French store for 2971 euros and the most expensive model costs 4463 euros. The store doesn’t show any images, but VideoCardz has its hands on promotional materials for the new MSI laptops.
MSI equips the gaming laptop with Intel Alder Lake-H processors for laptops. Those have not yet been announced, but Intel is expected to do so at the CES fair next week. The listings show versions with the Core i9-12900H and the Core i7-12700H. Rumor has it that both processors have 14 cores and 20 threads. It would be six powerful P-cores and eight economical E-cores.
Furthermore, the GS77 will receive the new laptop versions of the RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti. They have respectively 16GB and 8GB of GDDR6 memory. According to VideoCardz, the RTX 3080 Ti will have a GPU with 7424 Cuda cores, a TGP of 175W and memory with a speed of 16Gbit/s.
The MSI GS77 Stealth is the successor to last year’s GS66. It was equipped with Tiger Lake processors. The appearance of the GS77 appears to be unchanged and the new model again gets a 17.3 “screen. According to VideoCardz, these are the same options as the current GS66. That is, there is a choice of a 4k panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz panel with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels, or a 360Hz panel with a full HD resolution.
