Lenovo is reportedly planning several new Chromebooks, including a model with Apollo Lake-generation stylus and Intel soc. In any case, the Yoga Book with Chrome OS will be released in 2017.

Lenovo has codenamed the Chromebook with stylus and Apollo Lake chip “Snappy,” Chrome Unboxed discovered. It is a convertible about which few details are known, but the site speculates that it is a new Yoga Chromebook Thinkpad. Chrome Unboxed previously found clues to a Lenovo Chromebook running Apollo Lake soc codenamed Pyro.

In addition, the company will release a version of its Yoga Book with Chrome OS in 2017. The company confirmed that again, this time to Laptop Magazine. That convertible currently runs Android and includes an Intel Atom x5-Z8550. This laptop also comes with a stylus.

More Chromebooks with a stylus are expected to hit the market now that Android apps can run within Chrome OS. Chromebooks are especially popular in education. In addition, it is expected that many Chromebooks will receive Apollo Lake socs, as a successor to Braswell, whose chips are in many current Chromebooks.
