A photo has surfaced of screen protectors for the unannounced Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones. When it comes to authentic screen protectors for the new Pixel devices, that means the Pixel 3 XL gets a notch.
The photo with the screen protectors of the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL was shared via the Slashleaks Twitter account. It shows that the Pixel 3 XL will get a notch and the Pixel 3 will have to do without a notch in the screen. This notch is relatively large in vertical dimensions. With both the screen protector of the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL, you can see a fairly large screen edge at the bottom of the screen where a speaker is built in. The bezels on the side are thinner than those of the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.
Above the screen are three round openings on both devices. Two of them are most likely for the proximity sensor and the front camera; the third opening can accommodate a dual front camera, or accommodate a sensor to unlock the phone by scanning the user’s face.
For now, no official information has come out about Google’s new Pixel devices, which are likely to be released sometime this year.
