Intel has shared performance claims for its Arc A750 GPU in 49 different games. The Intel GPU would be on average up to five percent faster in DirectX 12 and Vulkan titles, depending on the resolution. The GPU is not out yet and there are no independent reviews yet.

Intel has on his website the average performance of the Arc A750 desktop graphics card in 49 different games compared to Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3060. This concerns 43 DirectX 12 games and 6 games that run on the Vulkan API. The manufacturer tested both GPUs in combination with a Core i9-12900K CPU, 32GB DDR5 memory, an MP600 Pro XT SSD and Windows 11. The company does not say whether features such as resizable bar are enabled. The Arc graphics card continued to run on an Intel engineering driver, while the RTX 3060 ran on the late June Nvidia GeForce 516.59 WHQL.

According to Intel, the A750 performs an average of three percent better than the RTX 3060 at 1080p resolution in DirectX 12 games in this setup. At a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels, the Intel card would be on average five percent faster than Nvidia’s counterpart. With Vulkan, the A750 is four percent faster at 1080p and five percent at 1440p, according to the chipmaker. At the bottom of its blog post, the company publishes the average frame rates in all tested games. The video cards have been tested in titles such as Control, Cyberpunk 2077, DOOM Eternal, F1 2022, Far Cry 6, Microsoft Flight Simulator and Red Dead Redemption 2. The company previously showed the performance of the A750 video card in a limited number of titles .

The specifications of the Intel Arc A750 have not yet been officially announced. According to previous rumors, however, the video card will receive 24 Xe-cores, which corresponds to 384 execution units. The card would also be equipped with 12GB GDDR6 memory on a 192bit memory bus. The video card is produced on TSMC’s N6 process. Further specifications have not yet been announced and Intel will not share a suggested retail price of the A750. Twitter user and hardware leaker 9550pro does, however, claim that the A750 has a die-size of 406mm². Remarkably enough, that is 47 percent larger than that of the RTX 3060, which has a chip surface of 276 mm².

The Intel Arc A750 video card has not yet been released and no independent reviews of the GPU have yet appeared. So far, however, the release of Intel’s Arc graphics cards has not gone smoothly. The video cards were supposed to come out earlier this year, but have been delayed several times in the meantime. In the first reviews of an Arc A380 video card, which has now appeared on the market in China, it appeared that the video cards suffer from driver problems and disappointing performance in certain titles. Intel previously confirmed to media outlets like Linus Tech Tips that the Arc video cards are not well optimized for games running on older graphics APIs, such as DirectX 11. The company said in a blog post recently that Arc graphics cards will become more widely available later this year and that the company will continue to work on drivers and performance in older titles.
