Fitness app Strava now supports DMs and group chats

Strava adds support for DMs and group chats to the fitness app, making it easier for users to share routes and activities with other users. Among other things, it is possible to respond with emojis and send GIFs via the ‘/giphy’ prompt.

In early 2024, Strava will add additional features, including photo uploading and the ability to share posts and events within Strava Clubs. Due to the addition of these types of features, the fitness app is increasingly taking the shape of a social media platform.
