US Robotics has released a new firmware for its 22 Mbps wireless AP that makes it possible to increase the speed to 54 Mbps, which is supported by the US Robotics 54 Mbps XLerator Technology. The following release notes are available:
US Robotics now offers downloadable performance-enhancing software for our line of 22 Mbps wireless products. Exclusive US Robotics 54 Mbps XLerator Technology offers performance and data throughput rates comparable to 54 Mbps wireless standard products but with the unsurpassed security features, reliability, and value of our very own line of 22 Mbps wireless networking products.
These performance enhancements are possible through software upgrades available for free, compliments of US Robotics, in our ongoing effort to provide you with the best possible online and networking experience.
