PcDealer points to the existence of BIOS version 1.02 for the Tyan Thunder K8QS Pro motherboard. The update was put online on July 21, 2004 and can be downloaded from this server. Tyan has introduced three new features in 1.02 and implemented a number of bug fixes. Which exactly those are can be read below:

Changed HT link frequency default setting to 800MHz

Fixed Opteron 850 CPU reboot issue with Windows Sever 2003

Add COM A/B and LPT port disable option

Add COM B Console Redirect support

Add Quick Boot option in Bios Setup

Change default boot sequence to Floppy,

CD-ROM, IDE[break]
